We are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team based in Ashley Cross, near Poole, with the possibility of remote and flexible working. The primary objective of the role is to raise the profile of the business in the professional and wider community, generating enquiries so we can help more people live the best retirement they can.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the MD in the delivery of all aspects of business promotion and profile raising
- Responsible for producing the Life Matters Annual Marketing Plan and the delivery of all marketing activities through to completion. Prioritising work efficiently to achieve deadlines, co-ordinating the input from others as needed
- Responsible for the design of all Social Media content, schedule posts and interacting on social media to raise the company profile
- Support the MD by creating content for regular articles on important topics
- Identify new opportunities, keeping up to date with ‘21st century’ marketing vehicles, incorporating the most up to date marketing tools into the business for continual development
- Produce MI reports to track all activities and report to MD. Make suggestions to improve results on an ongoing basis
- Provide friendly and clear communication with professional connections and marketing agencies by phone, email, and letter as per Life Matters guidelines
- Developing and maintaining internal relationships to meet business objectives in a timely fashion and maintain relationships with external agencies
- Design and improve documents considering the client experience, our core values, and brand guidelines
- Managing events, campaigns, marketing material and communications as required
- Responsible for proof-reading all material, have final approval responsibilities
- Ensure that relevant service standards are consistently achieved
- You may from time to time be required to undertake reasonable additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business
This role would suit an experienced marketer, ideally with some previous Financial Planning exposure although we will consider candidates without this experience.
Important attributes and experience
- Familiar with Canva or similar
- Proven track record of marketing success
- Positive, with a warm and friendly outlook
- Happy to take a flexible approach to work as needed
- Highly organised, methodical and disciplined, with the initiative to take on new challenges and add value to the team.
- Able to work to defined business standards and comfortable driving change where needed
- Strong ability to work in a self-managed capacity, to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision by prioritising and planning workload
Qualifications
In this role, a proven track record carries greater importance than formal qualifications

Salary
Depends on experience, up to £30,000 per annum FTE
