What can we do to help others
There’s no doubt that the human cost of this pandemic is far greater than the financial cost, but in the spirit of working together to support our community, I want to do whatever I can to help. Given my skill set I am well placed to support people who are dealing with financial anxiety. If you know anyone you think would benefit from a chat, confidentially and impartially, about their financial situation, please forward this update to them and encourage them to get in touch with us.
Many people are worried about their businesses, large and small. Some are frightened by what has happened to their life savings over the last 6 weeks and may benefit from a second opinion, or even a first opinion if they are a ‘do-it-yourself’ investor. Whilst the government are offering lots of financial support, many are unclear what this means for them. We would like to be a sounding board for anyone we might be able to help, with the aim of easing their financial worries, free of charge.
